I'd like to keep it varied. I can't remember who told me, but they said: "You're only comfortable when you're earning money when you sleep." Because of the holiday company and a couple of the other small investments the potential is there for that now.

Question by bobr20: Through bankruptcy I lost earned nonqualified pension. Can I deduct the loss?
These were “earned” contractual benfits that were discontinued via bankruptcy court. A settlement for 25% of calculated value was paid in new stock as an unsecured claim.
Answer by wartzYou have nothing to deduct. When you start to draw the reduced pension, you will have less to report then.
